IPL – Photorejuvenation

Photorejuvenation is an innovative instrumental method of combating age-related skin aging.

Photorejuvenation has a wide range of applications for these problems:

  • mimic and static wrinkles
  • ptosis
  • hyperpigmentation
  • rosacea (symptoms)
  • broken veins
  • enlarged pores
  • also applied to improve skin elasticity, elasticity

The uniqueness of the photorejuvenation method lies in the fact that the light beam simultaneously activates the deep and superficial layers of the skin, which makes it possible to achieve a significant and lasting effect. However, the integrity of the skin remains intact and there is no possibility of burns and scars.

Benefits of photorejuvenation

  • Skin tightening and rejuvenation
  • rapid effect
  • short rehabilitation period
  • painless procedure
  • the effect lasts for several years
  • removal of pigment spots
  • removal of acne scars

What does the proces of photorejuvenation look like?
Phototherapy treatment is quick and painless. The skin is first cleansed of make-up and perfume. A sufficient amount of ultrasound gel is applied to the treated areas. To protect your eyesight, we will lend you protective glasses to put on before the treatment begins. A trained esthetician will then perform the light pulse treatment. Everything will be completed within 30 minutes.

How does photorejuvenation work?
This method of rejuvenation works on the principle of heating the dermis with low doses of light energy. The light pulse of the filtered beam is absorbed by the skin, thus stimulating and renewing the cells. They start to produce collagen, wrinkles are smoothed, the skin is firmed and tightened. The skin becomes younger overall. Best of all, with the right care, this improvement can be long-lasting.
Number of applications: 3 to 5
How often: once a month, Application duration 30 minutes.

How should I prepare for the treatment? Are there any restrictions after the treatment?Your skin must not be irritated from the sun or tanning bed before treatment. Please avoid tanning beds, saunas, steam rooms and hot baths after treatment.

What areas are treated?
The whole face or its parts can be treated with phototherapy: for wrinkles around the eyes, forehead wrinkles or around the mouth. We can also tighten the skin in the bust, décolleté, neck and hands.

Contraindications
People suffering from epilepsy or diabetes should avoid photorejuvenation. Also for those taking blood thinning medication, also medication causing photosensitivity and if your skin is hypersensitive to light, i.e. you have developed a reaction in the form of a rash.
You should also not have freshly tanned skin or skin where there is a tattoo.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy
  • breastfeeding
  • epilepsy
  • eye diseases
  • cardiac pacemaker
  • oncological disease
  • skin cancer
  • active tanning
  • use of medications that cause increased sensitivity of the skin to light (e.g. antibiotics, corticosteroids)
  • thyroid disorder
  • hormonal disbalance
  • nflammatory process on the skin at the site of the procedure

IPL- Removal of pigmentation

The PL device is used to remove unwanted pigment spots, mainly on the face, neck, décolleté and back of the hands, but also on the body.
When a pigment spot occurs, melanin builds up in a specific area, which then causes skin colour irregularities.

During the treatment, a pulse of light is absorbed by the dye contained in the pigmented spot, then converted into heat (reaching a temperature of 60°), which allows the pigmentation to be heated at the site and destroyed without damaging the surrounding tissue. After the procedure, the pigment spots turn dark, and fine scabs form on the treated area, which gradually peel off on their own within 1-3 weeks, as the skin layer is constantly renewing itself naturally.

Before and after IPL treatment:
Do not sunbathe, visit solarium, sauna, steam baths, hot baths (increased blood circulation prolongs the healing time and may cause skin irritation). It is important to use creams with high UV +50 after the treatment. Tiny micro-clusters will appear in the area, the skin should be moisturized and the crumbs should not be removed. Take dietary supplements to strengthen the vein wall and prevent the formation of scabs (e.g. Rutin). By following the principles, you increase the effectiveness of the treatment.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy
  • Breastfeeding
  • Epilepsy
  • Eye diseases
  • cardiac pacemaker
  • oncological disease
  • skin cancer
  • active tanning
  • use of medications that cause increased sensitivity of the skin to light (e.g. antibiotics, corticosteroids)
  • thyroid disorder
  • hormonal disbalance
  • inflammatory process on the skin at the site of the procedure
  • infectious diseases
Laser (IPL) removal of enlarged veins (red veins)

How does it work?
An IPL head with a 520-1200 nm light is used to remove varicose veins in the face, lower legs and anywhere else on the body. In these cases, the treatment is based on selective photothermolysis, which allows heat to be absorbed exclusively by the hemoglobin-containing red globules in the most superficial capillaries. By the intervention of the beam, the sphere transmits heat to the capillaries, in which thermal closure of the spilled blood vessels and diseased capillaries will occur, which will later be replaced by normal ones without causing damage to the surrounding skin.

Before and after IPL treatment:
Do not sunbathe, do not visit solarium, sauna, steam baths, hot baths (increased blood circulation prolongs healing time and may cause skin irritation). It is important to use creams with high UV +50 after the treatment. If small microgroups appear in the area, the skin should be moisturized and the crumbs should not be removed. Take dietary supplements to strengthen the vein wall and prevent the formation of scabs (e.g. Rutin). By following the principles, you increase the effectiveness of the treatment.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy.
  • Breastfeeding

IPL - Acne treatment

What is the treatment of acne with IPL?
The painless, non-invasive IPL acne treatment achieves high results after several repetitions. The pulsed light directly hits the source of the acne, acting on specific molecules in our body: porphyrin from haemoglobin. When porphyrin is exposed to visible light, it becomes chemically active, aiding oxygenation and thus preventing acne and reducing sebaceous gland production. In line with any other treatment, the procedure and the effectiveness of the treatment is linked to the ingestion of the appropriate wavelength.

What results can you look forward to?
We recommend 4 - 6 treatments over 21 - 28 days and then as needed.

After the procedure, acne can be completely eliminated or at least reduced to the maximum extent. For a long-lasting effect, it is necessary to continue to follow a proper skin care lifestyle.

How should I prepare for the procedure? Are there any restrictions after the treatment?

  • When treating acne, it is advisable to avoid unhealthy and fatty foods.
  • The skin should not be tanned before the treatment. IPL should not be performed on tanned skin.
  • After the treatment, it is necessary to protect yourself with UV protection and avoid being in the sauna.
  • For maximum effect, moisturize the skin and use alcohol-free cleansing lotions and lotions.

What areas are treated?
Acne can be treated on the face, shoulders, upper chest and back.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy.
  • Breastfeeding
  • Epilepsy
  • Eye diseases
  • cardiac pacemaker
  • oncological disease
  • skin cancer
  • active tanning
  • use of medications that cause increased sensitivity of the skin to light (e.g. antibiotics, corticosteroids)
  • thyroid disorder
  • hormonal disbalance
  • inflammatory process on the skin at the site of the procedure

IPL - Permanent hair removal

Are you tired of removing your hair over and over again using conventional methods? Or are you worried about the aesthetic problem of hair anywhere on your body? IPL hair removal is for you. It is the most modern epilation with intense pulsed light. We exclusively use the top-of-the-range MLAS IPL Intense Pulsed Light 5th Generation 8106 , which achieves the highest quality and is a guarantee of customer satisfaction.

Recommendations before and after IPL epilation
Approximately 4 weeks before IPL epilation, we recommend not to pluck the hair with an epilator and not to use epilation creams, only shave the hair with a razor. In order to effectively target the hair, we need it to be in the right growth cycle. That is, in the follicle and on the surface of the skin at the same time. Therefore, it is necessary to shave with a razor 2 to 3 days before the actual IPL epilation. The hairs should be about 0.5 mm long (you run your hand over and feel the stubble). Before and after IPL epilation, you should avoid direct sun and tanning beds for at least 14 days and protect your skin with a high SPF if necessary.

How does IPL hair removal work?
IPL hair removal is comfortable for the client and takes place lying down on a recliner. The eyes are protected by opaque goggles. The epilated skin is first cleansed and then proceeds to the IPL epilation. The individual pulses of IPL epilation themselves can be perceived as a light pinch. However, it is definitely not painful. On the contrary, it is a sign that we have managed to hit the hair well in the follicle. The intense light pulse is absorbed by the dye in the hair - melanin, or the blood dye haemoglobin in the root of the hair. The hair then falls out and does not grow back. More sensitive people may experience a slight reddening of the skin, so we recommend avoiding certain activities such as sauna or swimming on the day of treatment.

Number of repetitions and result of IPL hair removal
One treatment of IPL hair removal will never remove all the hairs. This is because hairs have different growth stages. For maximum effect, we generally recommend 6 to 10 repetitions, every 4 to 5 weeks. The number of repetitions is individual for each client and cannot be influenced in any way. Even with the maximum number of repetitions of IPL hair removal, the result of absolutely smooth skin cannot be guaranteed. Some clients come for maintenance treatments once a year.

What areas can be treated with IPL epilation?
Due to the gentleness of the method, we can use IPL epilation to remove hair on any part of the body. Women welcome the removal of facial hair above the upper lip or between the eyebrows. Men, on the other hand, are happy to get rid of hair on their shoulders and back. Most often clients request epilation of the underarms, intimate parts and ladies request epilation of the calves.

Groin or whole intim part?
This is a frequent question from customers. Groin epilation means removing any hair that might be peeking out of your swimsuit. For example, on the inner thighs, around the swimsuit line or below the belly button. In contrast, full intimal epilation is epilating the intimate areas wherever you wish. Our staff are discreet, so don't hesitate to ask.

Contraindications:

  • Pregnancy.
  • Breastfeeding
  • Epilepsy

  • cardiac pacemaker
  • oncological disease
  • skin cancer

  • use of medications that cause increased sensitivity of the skin to light (e.g. antibiotics, corticosteroids)
